As an agent, there may be a time where you wish to update the instruction date on a series of service events within Fixflo to ensure that the service events are instructed to your contractors with plenty of time to carry out the works. 

If you wish to bulk about your service events instruct date intervals you would need to go into Planned maintenance > Service Events. Once there you can search for the specific works you wish to be amended by searching either the address where the service event will be carried out or by searching the series name which you can see in the example below: 

It would also be worth searching for service events that have the status of pending as these are the only events which can be updated. If you wish to update service events click on the grey dropdown and select the status as pending. You may also want to select when the instruction date is between as well. Once this is all done hit the search button:

Once your results have appeared all you need to do is click on the options button and select 'Bulk set interval':

After this is done you are given the option to select which service events you wish to update. Just click beside the service events you want to be updated then click on 'Set instruction interval'. If you wish you update all the results click on 'All results' :

When this is done, you are given the option to update the instruction interval. This will include a numerical figure as well as the time period which can be set as days, months or weeks:

 

After all, this is done you just need to click save. The system will then let you know it is completing the task and will update you once it has been completed.
