Once your event templates are created and service events are set up (please find our article here on how to create your own), there might be times where you will need to amend details in bulk.


There are two ways to do so.


Options


If you need to amend the below :

  • Add/remove the need for review or amend the reviewer
  • Unassign the service events or re-assign to a different agent
  • Amend how far in advance of the due date you would like the issue to be instructed
  • Remove the contractor assigned or allocate to another contractor
  • Archive


You will need to access the Planned maintenance tab on the left menu side bar and access Service events.


You can then open the filter dropdown to further narrow down your search, for example amend the Instructed contractor field and click on search to show a list of all your service events automatically instructing to a specific contractor.




Once the results show the relevant list of service events, click on Options at the top of the list to make the necessary bulk amendments.

Event template level


Other settings, such as the event names, the instruction notes, attaching an occupier or the repetition of an event will need to be amended within the event template itself.


You will need to access the Planned maintenance tab on the left menu sidebar and access Event templates:



Click on the relevant template that you want to amend to open the next page:




For any changes you make at event template level, once you hit Save you'll be presented with the below pop-up window:



Tick the relevant setting to apply the changes you made to all your existing pending service events. Please note tonly Pending events will be updated.

If you don't tick anything and press Ok, the changes you made will only affect new service events created.
