What If A Works Authorisation Limit Is Breached?

Works authorisation limits can be set against landlord and agent profiles. In order to keep an eye on any breaches of works authorisation limits, you can easily set up an agent to be notified via email should this occur.

To set this up, you need to be an Administrator user profile in Fixflo. Click via Setup > Settings > Notifications. On this page, choose the agent you would like to be notified:

Once you have set this up, the agent you assign will receive an email every time somebody (aside from them) exceeds a works authorisation limit:

This will also be reflected in the Audit tab - this is time and date stamped to help you keep an eye on everything!

In addition, Fixflo has the ability to enable a hard stop to prevent users from instructing works above their works authorisation limit. This is linked to the 'Internal approval' feature - for more information please click here.
