There will be the odd occasion that you will create an issue on behalf of an occupier. In most cases it is best to urge your occupiers to use the system themselves, however, it is possible to create an issue for them easily.
When creating an issue on behalf of an occupier, there will be occasions when your occupiers are already on your system and then others where they are not yet on the system.
Creating An Issue On Behalf Of An Occupier Already On Your System
If your occupier is already on your Fixflo system then you should create an issue on their behalf as it will mean that their contact details and address will pull through when creating the issue, making the process quicker for you.
To do this, click on 'Create issue' and then 'Create on behalf of' on the left-hand side menu bar:
You will then be taken to a page where you will be able to search for the occupier or property address using the search bar:
When you have searched for an occupier, results will appear and you can click on 'create issue' to report the issue on their behalf:
When you go to submit the issue, you will be asked if you would like to send the occupier an email to let them know that this has been reported.
Creating An Issue On Behalf Of An Occupier Who Is Not On Your System
If you would like to report a maintenance issue on behalf of an occupier who is not yet on your system you can click on 'Create issue' and then 'Enter as you go':
When you report the issue on behalf of an occupier, you will be prompted to provide their contact information (name, email address and telephone number) and their address.
Once the issue has been created, the occupier will be added to your Fixflo system.
