How Do I Use The 'Key Reference' Field?

It might be useful for you to match data in Fixflo with data in other systems, be it software or manual processes. For example, you may wish to leave your internal key reference against individual property profiles in Fixflo. This will allow your contractors to approach you with the correct reference to get keys to access the property in a prompt manner! 

To create a Key reference, first click onto the property profile you'd like to mark the reference against; the field can be found on the Detail tab. Remember to hit Save once you've added it!

It's that simple! Now, when you instruct works at that property to a contractor, the 'Key reference' field will be provided to them on their confirmation email, as well as within the system itself:

The contractor can now bring that reference straight to you in order to get keys to access the property - nice and efficient!
