Authentication tokens are used for integrating third party systems with your Fixflo account. In other words, authentication tokens are used by other apps to mimic your login and add and update data on your behalf. If you have been asked for an authentication token you may create one via Fixflo and copy the value into the third party system.

Each third-party system uses their own token. When creating the authentication token please ensure you create a token specifically for the application.

To create (or reset) a token first log in to your Fixflo account. Then Setup > Integrations:

This page will show you all of the authentication tokens that have been generated against the system user within your Fixflo instance:

Here, you can use the buttons underneath 'Options' to copy, reset or delete the relevant token. In addition, you can add a new token using 'Add token' at the top of the page:

Simply enter the relevant name of the integration, having followed our applicable guide.

Please note: If you delete or refresh any existing token, the other system will no longer be able to make API calls to your Fixflo instance. As such, integrations that use this token will cease to work until the new token is created and entered.
