Please note: Veco is also known as 'Euro Link'.
Fixflo integrates with Veco so that any repair and maintenance issues created in Fixflo can be pushed back into Veco. This allows you to keep a complete maintenance record for your tenancies and produce more accurate reports.
Setting up the integration
Please login to your Fixflo system as an Administrator user and click Integrations > Tokens:
At the top of the page, you will be able to 'Add token' - in 'App Id' enter 'VECO' and then click 'Add':
You will then be given an authentication token - please find examples below:
To complete the setup of the integration, you will need to go to enter the following information within the 'General Parameters tab' in Veco:
- Your Authentication Token
- Your Fixflo Domain / URL
You can also specify the frequency by which you would like Veco to check for new fault reports from Fixflo.
The integration works by pulling through the information from the submitted report into your Veco system. You will receive an email notification from Fixflo when a new issue has been reported, and this will then go into your Veco system.
The 'Update from Fixflo' button in Veco will pull through any new issues that have been reported:
When the repair comes into Veco, it will look to match the address submitted through Fixflo to an address within the Veco system. This is done through postcode initially, and then the first line of the address.
If the address matches, then the issue will be attached to the property. Once you select the issue from the repairs screen, there is an option to raise a Work Order from it, and subsequently an invoice.
If the system cannot match the issue address with a property in your Veco system, it will not allocate it to a property. Instead, it will put the address in the 'Important notes' field to help the Property Manager identify the correct property to attach to, which can be done easily.
