Who are David Phillips?
David Phillips are the leading furniture supplier to the PRS market in the UK. They provide new furniture to their properties, whether it's replacing damaged furniture items in a landlord's properties, to redecorating entire homes, to supplying furniture to entire blocks of flats in a BTR setting.
Which areas are covered?
David Phillips can cover the entirety of mainland UK, but at launch, they have opted to operate in areas where they can provide high levels of service, such as 48-hour delivery after order.
The available postcodes are shown in the map attached at the bottom of this article.
How can agents instruct jobs?
- David Phillips, unlike our other Contractor Networks, will only operate on a 'quote' basis where you will need to ask them to quote through the Fixflo 'Request Quotations' workflow.
- You will be able to request a quote from David Phillips provided:
- the Issue reported by the tenant is a fault that's covered by David Phillips
- the postcode of the Property is in their coverage map
- David Phillips will then automatically appear in their "Request quotations" pop-up as a provider
- David Phillips can submit multiple quotes, for approval by the Agent/landlord
- They will communicate with the occupier to set up an appointment via the workflows and comments section
- After attending the job, they will share the completion documents, costs, invoices and add any relevant information in the 'Feedback to agent' field. For future reference, you can find this information again by accessing the Detail tab of the issue
*Please note that the system will automatically determine if the fault type is covered by our contractors, as well as if it's in an area they work in. This will ensure you don't waste time in instructing jobs that they can't attend, respecting your own internal SLAs.
How do agents pay my invoice for handyperson services?
MANUALLY - You will pay David Phillips directly, with invoices still submitted via Fixflo. We are using a new non-direct debit payment method for all of our In Hours Reactive Contractors.
How can I set it up?
If you are already using the Contractor Marketplace for your Out of Hours or planned maintenance, you will automatically have access. There is no set-up required!
