Agents can now request approvals for quotes from all directors on a block! Ideal for scenarios where collective decision-making is needed. This article explains how the Multiple Director Approval Workflow works, what’s new, and how both you and your Directors interact with the process!

How to Request Approval from All Directors
The issue needs to have at least one quote provided by a contractor in order for this workflow to be available.
- Go to an issue with a quote and click Request Approval.
- In the Type of User Approving dropdown, select All Directors.
- Use the Approval Deadline date picker to define when director responses must be received
- Provide Approval notes which the director will receive in their emails and on Fixflo when they log in.
- Proceed to send the request.
The contents of the Approval Notes field will show in the quote request email when All Directors is selected:

How do I track these approval requests
We have a new 'Approvals' tab available*!
On the issue itself, this will give you a break down of each quote in a collapsed card format. There are two parts to each collapsible card:
Approval Overview
• Approval Deadline
• Request Sent date
• Approved / Rejected / Pending counts
Directors Approval Table
• Director name
• Response date
• Approval status
• Actions
The 'Actions' column allows you to complete this on the directors behalf if they are not able to do so.
What do the statuses mean?
• Submitted – Default status once quote is uploaded
• Pending – Awaiting director review
• Approved – One or more directors have approved
• Rejected – Rejected by a director
Like with majority of the workflows, the actions taken by the agent or director during this process will show on the Audit tab for auditing purposes.
*Please note that this tab is only available when you request a quote from 'All directors'
How do you find issues with quotes being reviewed by all directors?
When on the Issue Search page, you can open the filter list by selecting the dropdown arrow at the end of the search bar. The filter option 'Quote reviewer' includes 'All directors':
What does the Director see?
The process will look very similar to how it looks when a landlord is requested to provide approval for a quote.
What happens when all approval requests have been responded to?
Once all the approval requests have been reviewed and submitted by the Director, you can continue the issue as normal based on the results. The Next steps tabs will show the agent all the available options:

Q: What if a director doesn’t respond before the deadline?
A: Once the deadline passes, the approval process completes, and you can act regardless of missing responses.
Q: Can I award a job if only some directors approve?
A: Yes, the you can award the job once the workflow ends.
Q: Can directors see each other's responses?
A: No, but agents can see all responses from the Approvals tab.
Q: How can I amend the template for the approval notes?
A: Admins can configure templated approval notes via Content Edit → Content → Approvals notes - Issue - All directors.
