Service events can be marked as 'Not required' for certain properties to help you see a complete and true overview of exactly what is outstanding on your compliance matrix.

Examples of when you may want to do this is if you have a property with no gas. You could then mark the Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) as 'Not required'.

There are two ways to do this. The first is via the property works planner.

Simply click on 'Planned maintenance' > 'Properties' and then click into the desired property. You will then be taken directly into the works planner of that property.

There are two tabs on the works planner; 'Active events' and 'Not required events':

Select 'Not required events' and you will be able to add a service event which is not required:

You will then be able to select the event which is not required and it will then show on this page:

You can easily add more events here if you want to:

The other way to add a service event as 'Not required' is via the compliance matrix. Click on 'Planned maintenance' > 'Compliance matrix' and then hover over the service event for the property which you wish to mark as 'Not required'. You will need to click on 'N/A' and then 'Yes' on the pop up to mark this as 'Not required':

This will then show on your compliance matrix, giving you a full overview of what is compliant, what's not compliant and therefore needs urgent action as well as what is not required. Any service events marked as 'Not required' will have the letters 'N/A':

As part of our Contractor Marketplace service, we have partnered with contractor networks that can perform different service events for your agency, helping you stay compliant. Please find more information in this guide.
