One of the key tasks to complete before you can go live with Fixflo is to import data into your new account.
This will require you to export the information from either your Property Management system that you use or a CRM/database where you store these details. Of course, you may have this information in spreadsheet form already.
We require the following information:
- Buildings and Landlords
- Units and Leaseholders
- Contractor details
- Occupier mobile contact details (for more information on this click here).
Please find at the bottom of this article, two templates for importing your data. Within each, please consider:
- Yellow Columns = Mandatory information that we need
- Grey Columns = Optional but nice to have information
If you have multiple buildings organised into estates, please also include the estate name. Simply enter 'Standalone' if your blocks are standalone.
Please note: When an occupier reports an issue, a profile is automatically created for them in Fixflo if they don't already have one.
During the onboarding phase, you may also wish to import planned maintenance data (Fixflo Professional only). If so, please also refer to the relevant guide here.
Should you have any further questions, please do ask the Customer Success team member who is helping to set up your account.
Sending Us Data
Due to GDPR, we have implemented a secure way of sending us data files, to ensure that landlord, contractor and possibly occupier details are safe at all times.
When your data is ready, please log in to your Fixflo account and go via Setup > Imports > Import new data:
You can then select the file you wish to upload - please ensure you change the file type to 'All Files':
This will allow us to access your data, and we can then make sure it is imported correctly for you. Please do this for each file you have.
