Fixflo takes security and GFPR concerns seriously, while also working to ensure ease of use for all parties interacting with the software.

To accommodate this, certain user types are able to access the software using 'magic' authentication links directly from their emails. Both 'Contractor' and 'Landlord' user types have this ability, which will take them directly to the relevant maintenance issue they have clicked on via an email link.

As a standard setting, these links will be active for a period of 24 hours. If the user were to click the link after this period, they are directed to trigger a new link to their inbox to log in, or they are able to use credentials (email address and password). This functionality is common across software companies, and is in place to prevent any GDPR concerns. 

It is important to note that additional functionality such as changing the users' own email address or password, or setting/amending billing information (Contractors only) will require the user to enter their password to access.
