Driving and encouraging occupier engagement is extremely important in getting the most out of Fixflo. Sending out welcome emails to let your occupiers know how and where to report their issues is a great way of keeping them informed as well as sending out your custom Fixflo URL so they know where to go when they would like to report a maintenance issue.
When you add a new occupier to the system (guide here), they will automatically be sent the welcome email. However, you can send welcome emails at any time, either to one existing occupier your entire list of active occupiers on your system.
Sending A Welcome Email To One Existing Occupier
If you would like to send a welcome email to one of your existing occupiers, then simply click on People > Occupiers:
Here you will be able to search for your desired occupier. If you click into their profile, you can scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on 'Send welcome email':
If the welcome email has been sent before, it will show just below when the welcome email was last sent to this occupier:
Sending A Welcome Email To All Active Occupiers
If you would like to send a welcome email to a group of existing occupiers, then simply click on People > Occupiers:
Here, you can use the filters to segment the list as required. For example, you may want to filter by brand, or search for a particular property.
Once you've found the data-set you wish to send the welcome email to, use the 'Options' button towards the left-hand side of the screen, next to the numbers of occupiers on the list:
A drop-down will appear where you can send the welcome email:
By clicking 'Send welcome email' a welcome email will be sent out only to the occupiers that are displayed as part of your search criteria.
