Hi all, 

Christmas is nearly upon us, and as this is the last release that's going out before the new year, let us take this opportunity to wish you a very happy break from work!

We don't let off the pace (too much) as we near the Christmas break... but we have been doing some tidy up. It's been a bit of a pre-Christmas clear-out. So this release contains a few little tidy-ups, some very boring but essential technical work (think watching paint dry), and a few little bits and bobs.

  • You may have seen a few advice popup in the system - were adding a few more. So they'll soon start showing up as you peruse Fixflo, and when you click the help button at the top.
  • We've added a setting to limit address entry to the properties you have already added in Fixflo - this should stop tenants creating annoying duplicates!
  • We've also done something around addresses for our non-UK clients - added an address lookup to tenants can easily select their address from amongst the ones you've got in your Fixflo system. Switch it on in settings: "Enable address lookup from my properties".


  • We don't often tease... we don't like to raise expectations. So I'm just going to say that we've got something big and very exciting on it's way in the new year. I can't say any more... but suffice to say it could save you guys a lot of time and pain!

Bug fixes

  • Costs were proving hard to edit when a contractor went to provide an invoice - sorted!
  • We sorted one where agents were getting inexplicably linked to issues.
  • The button to add new buildings and estates had gone walkies - we've tied those down now.
  • We've made sure you can see all the tenants fault notes in the PDF for a reported issue.
  • We've made sure menus show properly on iOS (iPhones and iPads)
  • Line breaks (new lines) now show in fault details - makes it a whole lot easier to read when there's lots in there!
